Each week I have been writing to you to give you updates about the changes happening within our industry, but this week I will keep it quick. I want to introduce to you our concept of “matching drawback.”
JM Rodgers has been around for more than 60 years, and in that time we have been proud to cultivate a reputation as data experts. We have put that to use to create our own database where importers and exporters can find out if they have a match on an 8-digit level with other companies in our files.
We believe that we have the biggest database for drawback matches in the industry. We can match up importers and exporters to the tune of millions of dollars in potential refunds across nearly every industry. Through our trading company, we can make these connections a reality.
To make this process simple for our clients, we have drilled it down to a 1-2-3 process:
- Sign a non-disclosure agreement with JMR
- Have JMR match up all of your internal imports to exports
- Have JMR find matches with other importers and exporters in our database.
With the new rules that allow substitution drawback on any products that have the same 8-digit HTS number, untold opportunities are available to anyone importing or exporting.
