Reflecting on Our 2025 Philanthropic Efforts
As we look back on 2025, we are proud of how our philanthropic efforts continued to evolve with purpose and care. Giving back remains a core part of J.M. Rodgers, and this year, we placed greater emphasis not only on where we give but on how we give, prioritizing health, dignity, and lasting impact.Throughout the year, our team supported organizations working on the front lines of food security, animal welfare, environmental stewardship, youth support, healthcare, and community services. Through financial contributions, hands-on donations, and volunteer efforts, we stayed closely connected to the real needs of the communities we serve.
A Focus on Healthy, Intentional Food Giving
In 2025, we made a deliberate commitment that all of our food donations would consist of organic, health-focused items. From pantry staples and fresh provisions to seasonal meals, we prioritized food that supports nourishment, wellness, and choice. This shift guided our ongoing partnerships with food pantries, community centers, churches, and local organizations across New Jersey and beyond. Whether supporting families, seniors, or individuals facing food insecurity, our goal was to provide items we would feel good about feeding our own families.
One of our most meaningful seasonal efforts continued to be our annual winter ham donation to New Hope Food Pantry, a tradition that helps provide hearty, comforting meals during the colder months. We also supported organizations such as Interfaith Food Pantry, Loaves & Fishes, Market Street Mission, Table of Hope, Nourish NJ, Hope House, and local municipal food drives, reinforcing our commitment to consistent, thoughtful food support throughout the year.
Supporting Children, Families, and Moments That Matter
Beyond food security, we remained committed to supporting children and families through initiatives that bring hope, joy, and opportunity. Our annual Toys for Tots drive remains one of our most meaningful traditions. Each year, this effort allows us to help ensure children in our community experience joy and excitement during the holiday season.
We also proudly continued our support of Make-A-Wish, helping grant life-changing wishes to children facing critical illness. These moments of hope and possibility reflect the kind of impact we strive to support through our philanthropy.
In addition, we partnered with youth-focused organizations such as Big Brothers Big Sisters, helping invest in mentorship, stability, and positive futures.
Caring for Animals and the Environment
Animal welfare continued to be an important focus in 2025. Through repeated support of Parsippany Animal Shelter and St. Hubert’s Animal Shelter, we donated food, supplements, and supplies to help ensure animals received proper care and nutrition.
Environmental stewardship also remained a priority. Our support of organizations such as Reeves-Reed Arboretum, the Arbor Day Foundation, and national conservation groups reflects our belief that caring for the planet is inseparable from caring for people and communities.
Community, History, and Local Connection
We also supported community-driven initiatives and local institutions, including municipal food drives, senior centers, churches, and civic organizations. These efforts, along with our sponsorship of historic and cultural events, reflect our belief in staying connected to the places where we live and work.
