Jim Roberts serves as Vice President of Compliance at J.M. Rodgers Co., where he leads the company’s regulatory, security, and compliance functions with unmatched depth of experience. A licensed U.S. Customs Broker since 1985, Jim has worked in logistics and trade compliance for nearly five decades, beginning his career with importers in 1975 before transitioning into the customs brokerage industry in 1985.

Since joining J.M. Rodgers in 2004, Jim has become a cornerstone of the company’s commitment to excellence in trade compliance. He specializes in U.S. Customs regulations, C-TPAT security protocol, TSA Indirect Air Carrier (IAC) standards, and hazardous materials (HAZMAT) compliance. As both C-TPAT Security Officer and TSA-regulated IAC Security Coordinator, Jim plays a critical role in maintaining the integrity and security of client supply chains across all modes of transport.

Jim is a graduate of the Academy of Advanced Traffic, a business school focused on the regulatory aspects of domestic and international logistics. His decades of hands-on experience, technical knowledge, and unwavering attention to detail make him a trusted resource for clients and colleagues alike.
